Rollexx von der Freiheit Westerholt brings together the qualities we treasure in a German Shepherd: beautiful structure, confident character, and a genuine love for his people. We had the privilege of importing him from Germany’s respected Freiheit Westerholt kennel in September 2023. His breeder, Ralf, has been a longtime mentor whose guidance has helped shape our breeding program, making Rollexx’s place in our family especially meaningful. A four-time SG1 male, Rollexx has earned a “Very Good” rating and first place in his class on four occasions, twice at the PNW Regional Conformatino Show. We are proud of his accomplishments, but it is the dog behind those results who makes him so special to us.
 

Rollexx showed us his steady temperament from the beginning. Shortly after arriving from Germany, he joined the kids and me on a road trip to Boise for the 2023 Pacific Northwest Regional Conformation Show. That adventure included much more than time in the ring—he met horses, enjoyed outings to parks, and visited extended family and their dogs. Throughout those new experiences, his confidence and social nature stood out. He has the presence and strength we admire in the breed, balanced by an affectionate, gentle personality that makes him a pleasure to include in family life. Those early experiences showed us exactly why temperament matters as much as appearance.

A son of VA-rated, IPO2-titled Kurt vom Almhof and V-rated, IPO1-titled Mo von der Burg Königstein, Rollexx comes from a pedigree that combines conformation achievements with demonstrated working ability. His health testing includes normal hips and elbows, a DM result of “not at risk,” and an Embark panel reported clear for 254 tested genetic conditions. As a sire in our program, he represents our commitment to selecting dogs for the whole picture—not simply their pedigree or show results, but their health, character, and ability to be valued companions. We are honored to have Rollexx as part of the Vom Haus Audax family and excited to continue building on the qualities he brings to our breeding program.
